in fact, I learned to paint on one layer so I can change things without changing many layers. Having a โfinalizedโ lineart made me demotivated to finish a drawing because Iโm not satisfied with it. A drawing is a series of decisions, itโs ok to go back
hot take: I only want to have an AI callout with evidence from an artist with skills above mine. which is not much. But if youโll point out what I did wrong, my mistakes, etc. you should be better at me than art. Otherwise, you stfu and letโs both spend the time getting better โบ๏ธ
not to say that a non-artist personโs opinion is worthless. Especially for stuff like creatives tailored to the masses itโs very important. I get roasted a lot and its ok
But some people have a unique combination of overconfidence and not even knowing the basics of a drawing program (liquify, lasso?) AND bad faith, so Iโd value a dogโs opinion more tbh
well an artist can set their work at 1 million usd. If someone buys it, good for them. If no one does, maybe theyโll change, maybe not. doesnt affect me in any way, why would I feel anything about it
these days i believe the price of my art is competing with my day job hours and slotting into my free time ๐ฎโ๐จ

May is a wonderful month for me. I got a new job which doubled my salary and a better work environment, fingers crossed I can draw more and better quality.
