Nick O'Hern

Sergio announces he is leaving LIV.

Today we open the Friday Feedback mailbag and @nickohern and @MarkAllenGolf discuss more 'tight' golf courses, golf carts, shaft weights, and a wolfpacker feels Mark has overlooked an Adam Scott shot on his list of 'greatest shots ever'. Surely you agree? The bubble drama, and this reaction, is a plus for golf.

A Nick O'Hern masterclass on 'Feel vs Real'.

Struggling with your putting? At various times we all do. @nickohern gives a tip on a possible solution. And @MarkAllenGolf tells what he calls an 'horrific' story of a pro who got the yips in a tournament whilst Mark was in his playing group, witnessing the whole thing. What is the best golf course in Canada? After a question from Canadian wolfpacker Gary, who is visiting South Australia for Christmas (and playing golf there), @nickohern and @MarkAllenGolf are curious about the best course in Canada...need your input on this one. Links to hear today's Mini where we discuss it, and to watch on YouTube, here: linktr.ee/TalkBirdieToMe (pic: Shaughnessy in Vancouver which Nick says 'kicked my butt')

A Canadian wolfpacker, Gary, is heading to South Australia for Christmas and is after tips from @nickohern and @MarkAllenGolf on courses around Adelaide and Victor Harbor that he should play. Gary is spoilt for choice. We make a few recommendations and ask what is the best golf course in Canada (we don't know!). The drive for glory starts before you reach the course. @bmwau #BMWAU #THEM3

With the news in the last 24 hours that Tyrell Hatton, Lucas Herbert and Tom McKibbin will depart LIV, following Rahm, Poulter, Oosthuizen, Puig, Meronk, Ancer and others - what is the closest percentage that you give LIV of surviving?

A fantastic story from a Brisbane wolfpacker about Adam Scott as a 12-year old today. And more 'caddy chat'. If we did the show from a shack, could we call it the 'caddy shack chat'? We'll let ourselves out.....Links to listen to todays Friday Feedback pod, or to watch on YouTube, here: linktr.ee/TalkBirdieToMe

If you missed yesterday's quick chat with the legendary Graham Marsh, it's worth a catchup. @nickohern and @MarkAllenGolf gave him a quick buzz to clarify a couple of things about his work on some WA courses. Always good to chat with the great man!! Links to listen, or watch on YouTube here: linktr.ee/TalkBirdieToMe

A @TalkBirdie_ToMe listener says 'ban caddies for pros' and lists why. @nickohern and @MarkAllenGolf give their response. And we hear a WILD story about a 12-yr old kid absolutely destroying his adult opponent in a Brisbane matchplay event in 1992. That kid went on to win a major, and is still a Tour Pro. Todays Friday Feedback pod is a cracker: links to listen here: linktr.ee/TalkBirdieToMe

The closeness of the crowds to the greens at the WA Open last week is a plus for golf says @MarkAllenGolf .

Now this is living!

We use the Find My Player app all the time (on the show and off), @nickohern , @MarkAllenGolf , and Dan all follow a number of specific players. We get notifications of when they're about to tee off, when the finish, scores, breakdown of their scores in each round. There's a heap more info there, and the base level is 100% free (and even to upgrade it's very affordable and worthwhile). You can download Find My Player from Google Play or the AppStore.
