Just a reminder to sports gamblers, there aren't tons of accounts that previously provided good insight & somehow became what they used to despise. Private Pikkit accounts and absurd claims about wins. If someone has made a million dollars, they aren't spamming referral codes and using propbuilder as a sharp book.

Posts like this get dragged because the author is oblivious to the real world. If buying an ikea mirror is splurging & you are going ring shopping in 6 months, you are obviously marrying into wealth. No shortage of people born on 3rd base talking about how they hit a triple.
When Tyler and I first started dating, he had been living out of a suitcase for 5 months and hadn't purchased a single piece of furniture. Meanwhile, I was living in a 5ft x 10ft with 4 other roomates in a large closet that had been converted into a fifth bedroom.
My 'splurge' furniture was a $120 ikea mirror. We were both working at seed-stage startups and barely got to see each other.
We said we were going to get married 3 weeks into dating, and started ring shopping 6 months in. It has alternated who has made more money at any given time, but we share a bank account so it doesn't really matter.
The bet you take when you are young is finding someone who will grow with you, and together you will do great things. Whether that's having a beautiful family with many children or supporting each other through career pivots.
You see this happen all of the time in Brazil. Except there they aren't trying to confuse, they are aiming for publicity. You will see names like Henrique Barack Obama or Mick Jagger.
