💔FOUND CAT IN CILGERRAN #Pembrokeshire - APPEAL FOR OWNER(S)💔
🚗Yesterday, we heard about the heartbreaking plight of this poor little lad who had been involved in a road traffic accident in the Cilgerran area🚗
We can only imagine how frightened he must have been, injured, cold & in pain, with no way of understanding what had happened to him
🏥Thankfully, he was taken for emergency treatment at an out-of-hours Veterinary service, where he was found to be suffering from hypothermia & was clearly in pain. RSPCA Pembrokeshire Branch kindly covered his treatment before coming to us🏥
But this morning, despite receiving emergency care, this little lad had nowhere to go. He needed someone to step forward, somewhere safe to recover & someone willing to give him a chance. So we stepped up
He was transferred into the care of our wonderful Veterinary team for further assessment &, thankfully, despite what must have been a terrifying ordeal, his injuries appear to be superficial. With pain relief, warmth, rest & some much-needed TLC, we are hopeful he will make a full recovery
He is a young, unneutered male who sadly isn’t microchipped, meaning we have no way of tracing his family, if he indeed has one
❓️❔️DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS LITTLE LAD❔️❓️
If you live in or around Cilgerran or know someone who is missing a young male cat, please get in touch
📧
[email protected]
For now, little one, you’re safe, you’re warm & you won’t have to face the next part of your journey alone
💚🙏💚Please share this appeal far & wide. Somewhere out there may be a family longing to have him home💚🙏💚

Pumpkins:
Halloween is one night.
Tonight.
If you have to waste a food item (and I strongly suggest you don't), please put it out for that one night, then safely dispose of it.
Please DO NOT put it out for the wildlife.
Once you've handled it, cut it, left it out in the open, unrefrigerated, it will not be hygienic or safe for anyone to eat.
Pumpkins are a low-acid vegetable, so once they are cut and left at room temperature, pathogens will rapidly grow on the flesh, producing mould spores.
Our precious wildlife do not have any magical properties that protect them against food poisoning.
Additionally, this time of year there are baby hedgehogs around, born too late to find natural food, desperate to eat anything to stop the pain of starvation.
Pumpkin has a laxative affect so it would be particularly cruel to leave it out for starving wildlife to eat in desperation, causing them to lose precious fluids that may make the difference between life and death.
So no matter what you read elsewhere, please DO NOT put your discarded decoration out for the birds or any other wildlife.
Please DO NOT compost them either, as a composting pumpkin can produce highly toxic tremorgenic mycotoxins, which will be deadly if the compost bin is not properly secured and is accessible to wildlife (or pets).
Many hedgehogs, seeking the warmth of a compost bin, die this way every year.
Once you've used the pumpkin as decoration it's waste, fit only for the bin.
Please help get this vital message spread far and wide, to save precious lives and prevent suffering.

All Brummies want is our historic cinema and the birthplace of Black Sabbath saved from delinquent owners after years of neglect. Why is that so difficult when @BhamCityCouncil & @RichParkerLab have the power to compulsory purchase both then find genuine regeneration partners? 🤷♂️

This handsome lad is still waiting for a new home.
Can you please share?
Teddy is a 5 year old male Mastiff mix - he is available and looking for a new home.
He eats Ava sensitive skin and stomach mix from Pets at Home.
Teddy is good in the car but only use to short journeys.
He sleeps in the kitchen at night but would sometimes also sleep in his owners bed.
He is registered with the vets and can be left on his own if you need to go out.
Teddy is a big boy, he may knock small kids over, so he would suit a home with older dog savvy kids 10+.
He loves people and is good once he gets a clap, but he is wary of men wearing hats.
Teddy walks well on the lead and he use to go walking with a dog walker and was fine.
Teddy loves a ball rope, he likes to chew on the rope until it's untied.
He likes treats.
There isn't much that Teddy doesn't like, however he doesn't like the sound of metal/shutter noise as he got a fright when he was a puppy.
Teddy loves lying in bed under the covers. He would be best in a home with no other pets or cats.
He isn't really fussed by other dogs when he is out walking.
Teddy knows basic commands.
For more information or to offer Teddy a new home please email [email protected]
Sorry we are unable to accept messages to the page regarding pets for rehoming, please email the address above.

Channel 4 Dispatches went undercover inside the Financial Ombudsman Service @financialombuds. What they filmed should have shut the place down.
Their own staff said this on camera:
"I'm not proud to admit it but I've done it myself. Just taken a chance and just slung stuff through, with any old decision."
"You're more likely to meet your targets if you're not upholding them."
11,000 cases fell into a black hole for two years. Some of those letters said "I am going to lose my house."
@UKParliament demanded answers. Baroness Ros Altmann called it shocking. MPs threatened a full inquiry.
FOS said the footage was "not representative."
Nothing changed.
Fast forward to today. My own complaint against @rsagroup / @IntactInsurance is now being formally handled by Gary Smith @G8GWS of @MeridianLegals.
Gary is the lawyer leading the FOS Litigation Group, a group built on over 1,000 documented FOS failures. He is preparing a judicial review of the FOS.
My case has been submitted by Meridian as my regulated representative because what happened to me fits the same pattern Channel 4 filmed.
If you have had a complaint dismissed by the FOS and you believe it was handled without proper scrutiny, contact Gary directly at Meridian Legal Services.

@MeridianLegals
The full transcript of what @C4Dispatches filmed inside the FOS is in the comments.
Read it and tell me this is not exactly what is still happening today.

I really need to sell more calendars. I put in another order after selling out as a few people said they wanted one. I’ve not sold any yet of the new batch. They make great gifts & you’d be supporting my struggling business. I need at least to make my outlay back. Please share.

This lovely lad hasn’t had any enquiries 😞 can you please share to help him on his way?
Odin is a beautiful 3 year old male Border Collie. He is available and looking for a new home.
Sadly due to the owners health , Odin needs someone who can provide him the stimulation and attention he needs. He is very much loved but would be best in a home with someone who can give him lots of walks and attention.
He is chipped and neutered and healthy with no concerns.
Odin can be wary of strangers to begin with and would need a little time to get use to anyone new.
He is okay with some pets and can be wary of others - due to this, he’d be best in a home with no other pets to save him any unsettlement.
Odin eats dry and wet food and is also crate trained.
He loves toys and can be strong on the lead.
Odin has had the same owner since being a pup.
He isn’t a fan of the hoover but does love to play with a ball.
He is more of a fan of women than men, so may be best with a lone female looking for company, although we will consider male households too.
Odin is very loving and affectionate. No cats.
For more information or to offer Odin a new home please email directly to [email protected]
