Kicker Ryan Barker on deciding to return to Penn State: "It was the easiest decision I could have made. It would have been just as easy as if someone handed me $1,000 and asked, ‘Do you want this or not?’ Like it was seriously a no-brainer for me. I take so much pride in wearing the navy and white, and being an in-state kid, you want to represent this school. You grow up seeing this team through the years, and that's all I wished for, so why would I leave? Like why would I leave paradise? That's kind of the mindset with it, and it's like, yeah, I could go make some more money, but that's not why I'm playing football. At the end of the day, I'm playing football because I love it, and I care more about legacy than anything else. And honestly, part of the decision was just being able to leave a legacy here. I want people from my high school in my hometown to be able to talk about me decades after I'm gone. And I'm hoping that I'm making that imprint so far." 📸: @PaulABurdick
