“None of the gains we saw came from a self-driving lab.”
Two friends matched what Dow, Honeywell and Henkel have sold for 20+ years, in 3 months, from a garage lab in Oakland. By their own tests.
New Deeptech Decoded episode with @advaith_sridhar on why chips are hitting a heat wall and what @discoveredmat is doing about it. Check it out!
Ditto to that. And yet 90% of the headlines are still millions, billions and dollars. As if that is the only thing that matters.
My currency: people solving problems that matter.
Thankyou @paulg.

It’s day 1001 at @tryramp. In 1000 days, Ramp became the fastest growing corporate card in America (and the first to try to help customers spend less), scaled to nearly 9 figures in revenue, and did so at sustained hypergrowth (20%+ MoM growth).
What was our playbook? 👇

Well, Germans are efficient. They hate wasting time even if it's not their time. So they will ruthlessly step in to fix it.
P.S. RWTH Aachen is a place where people fail exams after studying for weeks.
See the conversation column. 😳

Thermalization of lines.
Makes you realize how artisan a dilution refrigerator is.
If there is anything that is both an art and a science it is cooling a quantum chip down to millikelvin temperature and then being able to control it.

Need a hand this Halloween? Our ProHands are dressed up and ready to help. Spooky look, scary strong grip. (Yes, that’s the 35 lb dumbbell missing from our gym.)

Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale.
He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt.
Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world.
At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.
Why not? If it works.. Kyrie Eleison.
I normally listen to electronic music with few or repeating lyrics when needing to focus, but I've found that a looping Gregorian chant also does the trick! open.spotify.com/track/0xUL1…

Just delivered a product in SF before we've even officially announced it.
Always great to work with customers who are pushing the boundaries with us.
The next couple of months could be wild. Foundation models are advancing fast, and I think we're about to see some mind-blowing shifts across the robotics industry.
What a time to build.
Taste in problems. Something you develop only by doing.
Not by reading about it.
Not by watching over someone’s shoulder, either.
Only in the arena: by doing, failing and getting back up to fail better.

Two months ago I spend 4 days on planes to get this shot of Alpha Centauri (the target of @FermiExplorer) in the Milky Way. This was taken in the Atacama Desert, Chile, the best place in the world to see the Milky Way, on the best day of the year to see it. It was taken by astrophotographer, Alexis Trigo, with a 20-second exposure, July 14th, 2026.
The star I’m pointing to is Alpha Centauri and, in 3 years, we will launch the first spacecraft to travel there! 🚀
I asked @mat_milenovic what he builds. Took him 13 seconds. Straight to the point. Point to point. //@Hop_Aero
