Tickit todo is a super minimal todo app that I’ve been using for a while, it’s great for managing side projects. Do try it out, available on App Store

Makes so much sense now. Hybrid platforms, extensive design systems were always celebrated because they were helpful in reducing one of the biggest cost of any software product and that’s engineering cost. Have been trying to convince many people that now we need to move towards lean design systems (for mobile) and native platforms because engineering cost has been reduced dramatically.

I've never been a fan of tab bar icons with labels, and we've never used them in any of our apps. 🙂 So, to everyone who insisted labels were essential... how's that working out on iPhone Duo? Going icon-only now?

What is this visual trick, makes the fold/unfold half part feel like a transparent window. Almost like it doesn’t exist.
