Poor little rich boy who finds himself unable to completely control the universe is thinking about running away.

Was Minneapolis a turning point? "Minneapolis’s resistance still achieved something extraordinary: At a time when Trump seemed at his strongest and they seemed at their weakest, they stood up nobly as individuals and as a community against his designs." open.substack.com/pub/thebul…

Q: If the administration has declared on waste and fraud, could you explain the $420 million overpayment for a prison in Appleton, MN, when they company offered it to the state for $75m? BESSENT: I don't know anything about that. That's a waste of our time.

So we’re supposed to believe there’s no money for health care, but there’s enough money for ICE to spend nearly $500 million buying an abandoned private prison in MN that was originally offered for sale at $75 million just last year?   If that sounds like taxpayers are getting ripped off, it’s because you are.

Think about this for a moment. He’s not angry at the corruption. He’s angry he wasn’t included IN the corruption.

"New records obtained by KARE 11 show the company that owned a vacant private prison in Appleton, Minnesota offered to sell it to the state in 2025 for $75 million. One year later, the Trump administration agreed to use taxpayer funds to buy the same abandoned prison from CoreCivic, Inc., for $495.6 million. The price difference, $420 million, is more than taxpayers are estimated to have lost in Minnesota’s much-publicized Feeding Our Future fraud scandal." kare11.com/article/news/inve…

For those of you mercifully confused by this and her whole... thing, Nicki Minaj wants two things: a pardon for her brother (who was convicted of sexually abusing an 11 year old girl in New York State, a pardon that can only be granted by the governor) and a pardon for her husband (he didn't register as a sex offender in California, a federal offense, which can only be pardoned by the President.)

After the right-coalition cheered the 1/6 insurrection, paying a foreign authoritarian to cage deportees in a brutal and abusive prison system, blowing up boats with unarmed people on them in the name of stopping drugs, and wanton corruption, no one can take this seriously.
Libs have a will to power, a ruthless and transgressiveness, that the right simply does not have. Libs will talk about ‘norms’ and demand respectability but when it comes down to it there’s really nothing they won’t do, particularly if they fear they’re losing.

Amy Acton's stepfather's surviving biological daughter spoke to The Daily Mail when they knocked on her door in Ohio, while sobbing. She said: She believed Amy's story, because her father raped her sister more than once (the victim in this 1974 indictment); she remembered Amy lived in a tent with Donna and Cledith; it's been terrible for her family to see Vivek's ad run in Ohio; and she heard rumors her father had victimized even more young girls.
NEW: I obtained the full Trumbull County file for Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 charge which shows that he was indicted for incest involving his 16-year-old biological daughter in 1973. The sheriff was then unable to locate him to serve him a summons in the county and nothing further happened in the case. Donna Arthur, featured in Vivek Ramaswamy's still-running campaign ad, married Cledith the next year in a neighboring county.

Obama 🔥: "The president wasn't even mad about the Saddam Hussein comparison! That part didn't bother him. But he was very upset about the Cheesecake Factory comments. He took great umbrage. The mobilized a whole of government response to that joke! They told the Treasury Secretary to hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory. This really happened."

Cheesecake Factory populism is so weird to me because the rise of chain restaurants created over-the-top, replicable dining experiences, which eventually put the final squeeze on mom-and-pop restaurants, such as the US version of trattorias. I would argue those family-owned neighborhood businesses made the dining experience feel more special and pulled communities together. The shift to chain restaurants homogenized American life and concentrated corporate power. Strange to frame corporate consolidation as "populism."

Trump is lying again. Putin started the war and has repeatedly refused to negotiate to end it. The US spent nothing like $350 billion. Half the money is not missing. Washington and Moscow are both significantly more corrupt than Kyiv. Putin, not Zelensky, is a dictator who openly steals elections.
And not a word about Putin, who started this bloody war and is killing Ukrainians. Trump is Putin's friend, as he himself says.

"When President Trump plucked Katie Zacharia from obscurity and appointed her as his new press secretary, he called her 'an attorney.' This is also how Zacharia, repeatedly and publicly, describes herself. Yet, there is no evidence that Zacharia ever passed a bar exam or has been admitted to practice law in any state. Popular Information searched for evidence in all 50 states, plus DC, that Zacharia was admitted to practice law anywhere — and found none." popular.info/p/trumps-new-pr…
