My short practical fx film, The Eel (2004)
The Eel was made in early 2004 with a £300 budget. This was done mainly because I realised I do my best work when I have fewer options.
It was filmed on a cheap 1 chip Sony Mini DV camera.
The special fx are all practical except for one tiny bit of CG (can you guess where?)
What you're looking at are a couple of puppets, the rest is a combination of twigs, worms and stuff I found in my garden tied together with tape.
