What in the fuck are we doing
Instinct is currently raising @ $30b. $100M → $500M → $2.5B → $10B → ~$30B in sub 1y. If you're still not inside the private market this should be a good signal to pivot aggressively. Wealth creation is going to be heavily skewed toward private investors over the coming decade.

It's wild to watch a $600B market swing in the wrong direction on news that each unit of compute is actually *more* valuable than previously appreciated.

Docker is stupid. “Sorry, we can’t deploy a single statically linked executable of size 10 MB, so LET’S JUST SHIP GIGABYTES OF DATA CONTAINING AN ENTIRE OS WITH ALL DEPENDENCIES FOR EVERY SINGLE SERVICE”

Few things pretty obvious to a few AI researchers but that most don't want to believe: 1. 90% of the most impactful AI research is already on arxiv, x, or company blog posts 2. q* aka strawberry = STaR (self-taught reasoners) with dynamic self-discover + something like DSPy for RAG optimization 3. State of the art search = GoT(graph of thoughts) + MCTS (monte-carlo tree search) + DSPy / CLIN inspired tooling for "self-play" like optimization at build-time and runtime + graph-based knowledge bases 4. Continuous learning agents is clever graph retrieval inspired by GraphRAG, CLIN, DSPy and dynamic reasoning modules 5. Multiple OOM improvement to be realized when those design patterns are baked into models, fine-tuned on and prompt-optimized at build-time + runtime with human in the loop. Although new foundation models around these patterns may not be needed to achieve significant improvement on existing open-source models... we used to have one sys admin per team looking like this that would cook your infra in house now we have devops teams that only know how to move terraform files, increase the cloud bill and make the pipeline slower
