Sometimes the most unexpected moments end up becoming the most meaningful ones.
While I was backstage at ArgoCon, focused on preparing for my talk, a colleague walked up to me and showed me a picture on his phone. On the screen was my name, highlighted during a shoutout from Michael Crenshaw for becoming an Approver.
I genuinely wasn’t expecting it. I wasn’t even in the room when it happened. Later, I watched the recording, and the feeling was surreal.
This milestone was possible thanks to months of collaboration with two amazing contributors - Blake Pettersson & Ryan Umstead .
What makes this journey even more special is that it didn’t end there. I received another shoutout at ArgoCon EU 2025 in London, and now again 6 months later at ArgoCon North America in Atlanta.
These moments remind me why I love contributing to open source - the teamwork, the learning, and the kindness of a community that recognizes effort even when you’re quietly working backstage.
Grateful to the Argo community, my company, fellow contributors, and everyone who continues to push open source forward.
Here’s to more collaboration and continued growth!
It’s just crazy and i believe making money especially in tech has not been ever easier than before. There are two types of people i have seen - First one complaining about AI taking their jobs in future and the second one taking this time strategically to build insane money that could never be possible before AI wave. Iykyk.
Bringing the Lead Argo CD Maintainer for the first video. Bookmark this tweet and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss it.
I’m planning to start a Maintainer Series on my YouTube channel, featuring maintainers from different @CloudNativeFdn projects. Each episode will be hands-on, covering what the project does, how it works, and, most importantly, how you can start contributing.

This is what @nitishfy answers in E2 of The Human Cost.
He paused YouTube, compressed growth. And he'd do it all again.
Why?

Heading to Pune next month! 👀
What are some must-visit places, good food spots, or things I absolutely shouldn’t miss? Also, would love to meet some folks from the local tech community while I’m there.
