She’s BEEN feeling that way for years, only now it’s just surfacing because she can actually do something about it, and for someone so disordered as her, it WILL make you feel and do things that can be considered odd

Especially if the idea that she could potentially “save the world” is brought upon her with the use of her gift and newfound knowledge, she’ll be more inclined to do sickening things to achieve that goal, even when she first arrived and the rules were set down for her-

Being sheltered for years and then suddenly introduced into a world you were taught to avoid? When the only thing you were exposed to of that nature is your own older sister who traumatised you as a kid? Yeah I think I’d lose my mind as well

I think her environment only triggered just how much she was holding in for so many years, especially with all the rules laid out for her, having been put into a new place when all you’ve known is what you grew up with will definitely shake you and make you a little crazed-
