Audio continues to grow. 12% of voters plan to increase their time spent with podcasts and streaming audio – including 11% of GOP Primary voters, 17% of Independents and 20% (!) of future cord cutters.
The podcast election...a majority of voters listen to podcasts weekly and almost 1/3 listen to at least 2 hours per week. Among Men 18-54, podcast reach climbs to 59%. Top podcast genres: news & politics, comedy, history, religion, true crime.
We’ve seen some other post-election polls and let’s just say…reports of TV’s death are greatly exaggerated. TV reaches a majority of all voters – and voters A55+ (counting half the electorate) report watching Live TV more than streaming.
We had ChatGPT summarize verbatims on what voters remember about their contact from political campaigns. Results are....not surprising - but reinforce the importance of smarter media planning tools, like our Power Panel, that help you hit the right target and avoid oversaturation.
#1 most common campaign contact reported by voters? Text message. 70% of all voters, and 73% of Independents, recall receiving texts from political campaigns in 2024.
