Corpseware is a minimal, disc based software ritual housed in a tablet form vernacular shrine inspired by the bloom mechanic of the Corpse Flower
Recently created a pendant for a live performance piece here in SF. Tessera is an open source wearable pendant designed to hold a microSD card. Inspired by the traditional locket, which was created to carry personal objects close to the body, the piece treats data as something similar.

The name refers to the ancient Roman tessera, a small physical token used for identification and exchange between people. Tessera extends this idea into a framework for a file network with no infrastructure but the people wearing them.

Corpseware is a minimal, disc based software ritual housed in a tablet form vernacular shrine inspired by the bloom mechanic of the Corpse Flower
The shrine holds the software like a reliquary and displays its countdown. The software cycles between two states, Bulb and Bloom, on a seven year timer that mirrors the corpse flower's dormancy. The bloom creates a framework for ceremony. A potential moment to experience, share with others, and return to.
