Growth Mindset versus Scarcity Mindset The Indian Clown Service (UPSC babus) operates with a scarcity mindset, where it imposes all limits on citizens while enjoying everything without paying for anything. Classic parasite behaviour

The biggest hidden billing ambush in Indian summer retail: "Free Standard AC Installation." You buy a 1.5 ton split AC on sale for ₹25,000 to ₹34,000. The box clearly says: "Installation Included." 2 days later, 2 technicians arrive with a drilling machine. One glances at your wall, walks out to the balcony, and says: Sir, standard install only includes 3 meters of copper pipe. Your outdoor unit is 4.5 meters away. Extra copper pipe: ₹950/meter. Outdoor iron wall bracket: ₹1,500. Drain pipe extension: ₹350. Heavy electrical MCB switch: ₹850. You only wanted cool air. You end up paying ₹5,500 cash in hand before the compressor even turns on. "Free installation" in India is just a paid entry ticket for technicians to sell hardware at 300% markup. What did your "free" AC installation actually end up costing you?

Meet Anagha Rajesh 24-year-old entrepreneur who invested ₹5 crore to build a Bengaluru-based lab called BioCompute. She developed technology that can store data in DNA. When she approached Indian investors they refused to fund her company because they wanted quick returns, which BioCompute couldn’t promise. She also received no meaningful support from the Indian government. Anagha eventually sold her lab for pennies and moved to the United States. As soon as she arrived investors lined up. Bitter truth: India talks about becoming a global superpower but fails to value the skilled people who want to build India.

This story will sound like a joke but it is not. -A teacher in MP was disappointed by bad condition of village school. -He used his own money to paint it, put some furniture in dining space, cleaned it. -brought a smart board. Gave some stationary to students. -brought 2 retired people to teach students for free. -also brought 2 other teachers & paid them from his pocket. -school enrolment increased, kids left private schools to study here. -kids from nearby villages also came. -Education Department transferred the teacher. -angry villagers protested on highway against his transfer. -he had to leave. Kids cried, everyone sad. -retired teachers were also removed. -kids started leaving school. -villagers protested again at collectorate to bring back that teacher. -Edu Dept gave show cause notice to the teacher asking him if he really used his own money? Who gave him permission. -Also asked him how he hired other teachers w/o permission. -asked if he has given stationary to kids, where did he get the funds? -warned him to reply to the notice to avoid the disciplinary action.

This dehati practice to dry grain on roads needs to go away. Why can’t these jerks buy a cheap plastic to dry it upon? Respect for policeman for trying to make them understand that it can cause accidents. “Thoda dusron ke liye sochte ho ke nahi sochte?” is right question because core of dehatism is selfishness. I know these people won’t learn, sadly! Too much independence & no consequences of intentional sabotage.

I never understood what drives an adult middle class man to "defend" his favourite multi-billionaire or ultra-corrupt politician as if his life depended on it. Neither the rich nor the powerful give two shits about you. The guy that you are arguing with may become a good friend if you talk to him nicely. I think some people are born with a slave mindset, nothing else explains this

Cries of Punjabi farmers who: - use 3x the pesticides - depleted the water table - pay no taxes - pay no utilities (water or electricity) - produce subpar & carcinogenic crops - refuse modernization - freeload on govt msp - use bonded labor - decimated soil health Etc etc
Smoke from an incident of stubble burning reaches Delhi faster than the cries of Punjab’s farmers.

The frustration many taxpayers feel over Nitin Gadkari’s controversial decisions is growing. When public anger reaches this level, accountability matters. If there’s no willingness to address the criticism, what message does that send to taxpayers? Nitin Gadkari needs to answer the questions being raised. 👀

A woman says she urgently needed to use the washroom, but was reportedly denied entry at a 5-star hotel. And this raises a serious question: does being a “non-guest” mean you can simply be refused in an emergency? India’s old Indian Sarais Act, 1867 does provide for access to toilet facilities in hotels for travellers. So before calling it “private property, their rules,” shouldn’t we first check what the law actually says?
