What happens when we take Andrej Karpathy’s legendary “The spelled-out intro to neural networks and backpropagation” — and rebuild it line by line in Rust? This is what @EncodePanda is showing us right now.

Honestly, Ben Affleck actually knowing AI and the landscape caught me off guard, but as a writer, makes sense.
Great takes across the board.

Looking back, it was a lot easier to focus without all the distractions and all the fake info. When you have just one book about Turbo Pascal in your entire city, you better sit your butt down and get to work. I cannot imagine how kids must feel having to learn anything nowadays.

YOU CAN SAY what you like about the current OASIS hysteria. It’s probably all over your timeline but you’d be hard pushed to find any other capable of creating this worldwide buzz of excitement and anticipation. They have created something special when the world is in a bit of a shameful place. This is maximum rock n roll.
This is Oasis.

One for all the "why should someone else get the credit for me buying the presents" haters
I own the purescript.io domain. I've had it for a few years and have never known what to do with it. It's up for renewal and I'm going to let it lapse. If someone wants it and has a productive use for it, DM me and I'll pass the ownership on.
