"Bhakti in religion may be a road to the salvation of the soul. But in politics, bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship." #Ambedkar

Food for thought, @PriyankKharge Avare, hope you understand the dichotomy. @RSSorg cannot run extortion & polarisation racket in India & roam scotfree. Either it should register, like it did in the US, or the terrorist outfit should be banned. @RahulGandhi @kharge @INCIndia

It is deeply ironic that Chenchu, a 13-year-old boy believed to have been part of the mob that murdered Graham Staines and his two sons over suspicions of Christian conversions, under the influence of right-wing extremists Dara Singh and Mahendra Hembram, went on to become a Christian himself as an adult. His story is a sobering reminder of the dangers of religious hatred and indoctrination — but also that hate is not permanent. A child taught to hate and kill in the name of religion can grow up to embrace the very faith he was taught to hate. The poison of religious intolerance spread by the RSS-BJP has real, devastating consequences. It destroys lives, distorts young minds and robs children of their innocence. But hatred need not define who they become. Do yourself a favour - save your children. Protect them from the RSS-BJP.
I tell the strange tale of a 13-year-old who joined the mob burning alive Staines & his 2 sons I write of his long incarceration, his torment & then his conversion to Christianity We see the frightening revival of the same hate in Odisha & central India scroll.in/article/1096401/ha…

Double standards on full display by a turncoat . Trader bodies strongly opposed the Opposition’s Nov 1 Ramlila Maidan rally, warning that traffic restrictions, barricading and metro disruptions during peak Diwali season would cause massive losses in Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar and other markets. Yet the very next day, ruling party held its silly protest march . When ruling party guys march it is “जनसैलाब” and “traders support us”. When Opposition parties plans a rally it is “anarchy” and “business will be ruined”. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀.

When we're sick, we go to a doctor. When the system is sick, we go to a court. A negligent doctor puts a life at risk. A negligent court puts a democracy in a coma. #SupremeCourt #SaveDemocracy

Monopolies is such a terrible thing for markets and customers that even Milton Friedman, a free-market economist, had said "the existence of a monopoly is itself a form of market failure," quite something coming from someone totally skeptical of govt intervention.
What a bloody mess. Two foreign airlines will rather not fly out of Mumbai than shift to Navi Mumbai, as Adani wants.

Dear Mrs. Sitarama, 1.Which "legal and commercial matter" required Tata Trusts and Tata Sons to be hosted at Amit Shah's residence? 2.When is crony number 1 going to appear in the game and which pieces of Tata is he going to get? Finally, all India's businesses except 3-4 of your cronies, already hate all of you and don't need any incitement.

Congress won in Nagpur. HQ of RSS. Hometown of Fadnavis. Varanasi and Nagpur losses are major signals.
#WATCH | Nagpur, Maharashtra: Congress candidate Abhijit Vanjari has taken a lead over the BJP’s Sudhakar Kohale during the counting of second-preference votes in the Graduates' MLC election. Congress candidate Abhijit Vanjari said, "The BJP exerted all its might—all their leaders were present in Nagpur—yet the voters stood with us. Our party remained united, and the leaders and workers of the Maha Vikas Aghadi stood together as one. Numerous organizations supported me; in fact, I had mentioned in my campaign materials that 48 organizations were backing me. This victory belongs to the workers and leaders of those very organizations." (28.10)

Rakhi Tripathi called it perfectly. Abuse Gandhi, former PMs, opposition leaders or outspoken women → “free speech”. Give them a taste of the same language → sudden outrage, victimhood, and demands for action. A remarkable talent for playing both the bully and the victim. Selective free speech isn’t free speech — it’s a political weapon. #FreeSpeech #DoubleStandards
