I listened to all your issues with the Switch 2 emulator, and I fixed them 🛠️
My own fork of Eglantine is out:
✅ Memory leak fixed: sits around 4-5GB instead of 20GB+
✅ Textures fixed in multiple games
✅ Color issue fixed (HDR setting in docked mode)
✅ Performance improved
✅ More games boot now, including Welcome Tour
Download it and drop a ⭐ on the repo, it really helps 🙏

This reminds me of a friend who had a modded wii, and he installed an HD Smash4 textures mod for brawl intended for use on dolphin. The wii ran the game at like 19fps for a few minutes, the screen then went dark and a smell of burnt electronics egolphed the room and the wii died.

“Valve has held gaming back for years”
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney says Valve "has held gaming back for years."
Sweeney was replying to Kiaran Ritchie, a former principal animation programmer at Epic, who criticized Steam's 30% cut and said "You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week." Sweeney wrote that Valve locks developers' PC games into "Steamworks' social walled garden where players can't talk to other players on iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or even other PC stores."
A community note was added saying many games use Steamworks only for authentication to allow crossplay and handle the rest themselves. Sweeney called the note "fake," saying Steam Datagram Relay "isn't related to the things I cited: social, and players talking to each other across platforms."
