Nowadays AI is a tool that is accessible. Enjoy it while it last: break things, explore, try, audit, etc.
Anyone not using AI is making a mistake in 2026. At bare minimum you need to have AI doing additional security audits for your code. For decades we said open source was the way to build secure systems because anyone could audit them. Yet here we are in 2026, proving that either people just weren’t doing so or they’re not as talented at finding exploits as AI already is. Your code is being audited by AI, one way or another. It should be you doing it first.
PHP and NodeJS 😅
Not just PHP. Node.js has also announced security releases for October 21, with HIGH-severity vulnerabilities affecting its 26.x, 24.x and 22.x release lines.
If you run either stack in production, keep an eye on official advisories and apply patches promptly.
Security maintenance doesn't stop at your application code. Your runtime matters too.
Node.js advisory: nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerabi…
Full details of a remotely exploitable vulnerability in the core engine of *all* PHP versions will be released tomorrow, October 21st. If your organization has internet facing PHP applications then you need to be ready to patch the minute the update is released or *strongly* consider taking the application offline until you can:

I’ll tell you: when Dario and others AI tech CEO talked about losing 10% of human population, I’ve understood it’s not AI killing us, it’s human not sure what their purpose is, pushing them to consider suicid. Sad truth, we will see more over years :(.

Okay, okay… I have to admit it. 👀🔥
The Tesla Roadster opens up some absolutely INSANE possibilities.

Here is the next-gen Tesla Roadster development video from the unveil event that they shared exclusively with us.
Told it: smells bad when you have to “switch to new subscription”. Any perk you got is lost forever. X is perfectly able to link your accounts together, but they ask you to switch to new plan instead.
Update: xAI officially said NO. ❌
My legacy SuperGrok Heavy annual plan is gone for good. Billing Support confirmed:
• No way to restore it
• No payment link to buy it back
• "Neither Support nor Engineering can process this"
One checkout, ~10 minutes, and a discounted annual plan disappeared.
Nothing at checkout explicitly said "this will cancel and downgrade your Heavy plan."
If you're still on legacy Heavy: don't touch anything. 🙏

I was not understanding why they’d ask current subscribers to take action so I felt something was probably not to that good. I’m pretty sure more things will get discovered.
People don’t get there is a difference between being a solo with 4+ AI built apps to maintain and relying on a dedicated team that will take care of everything for you including security issues.
