God I love my job as a Fursuit maker, literally the best
It can be chaotic, a mess to my body, and a bit stressful… But the reward of the craft, character, and community around, built from my own hands, and what it means to some people is overwhelmingly worth it in the end ;w;
Just about done with our new coop n run, n made sure the girls are nice n spoiled yaaay ;w;
Gonna (finally!!) move our chickens onto our property tomorrow!
I so wish ANE and FC weren’t happening at the same time cause why I gotta pick between em :(
I’ve been missing Cali, and a break from the cold weather will nice so I’ll be doing FC this year but man… hope I find good people to hang with ;w;
Currently not planning to do too many cons before FWA next year— hitting FC, then probably only 1 spring con (ideally LVFC)— so I can catch up on custom work properly. A nice break
But honestly? So excited for summer, especially with all the premade ideas I have in mind :’D
So excited to have my hubby at home full time
While being by myself at home for most of the week (with nothing in walking distance) doesn’t ALWAYS get to me,, there are times it does 😅😵💫
Drove 25 minutes to the nearest gluten free bakery just to feel somethin’ today oop
I think one of the roots to the art price debate comes down to the thought that high profit is undeserved cause it’s an “easy, desirable” job
Don’t get me wrong, I love my job… But my calloused hands, chronic sleep issues and elevated cortisol + inflammation would like a WORD
And I’d consider myself LUCKY, knowing what this job— especially animation and tailoring— has done to my peers. Broken skin, bad backs, and carpel tunnel is not uncommon
The wear and tear of my own body, let alone my machines that make the job survivable, deserves compensation
Need to go to a furry room party with the type of people not interested in getting drunk, but rather experiment and share new flavors n drink ideas
I like enjoying my drinks n wanna gush with other mixology people ;w;
Please please please go see this movie, you deserve to see it on the big screen. I’m getting physical the instant I can

Having pale skin is hilarious cause while yes, my skin is finally healing and doesn’t look as brutalized as it did last week, the rashes still stand stark n ugly against paper-white

I had a medical emergency with my 17 yesr old baby. She spent all day at the hospital and we have 0 answers othet than pain control. At this point, Im taking offer of 2k or more for the Aussie. He comes with a reference and a badge. Willing to upgrade to a fullsuit at a discount.
