‘YAGA’ makes history as the #1 exclusive series launch on @AMCPlus!
“AMC Global Media today announced that the spellbinding mystery thriller YAGA is the #1 exclusive series launch in the history of AMC+, delivering record viewership and subscriber acquisition to the service since its premiere on October 23. The series also charted as the #1 social drama across all U.S. TV and streaming on its premiere day.
From the moment we announced YAGA and its incredible ensemble cast, the response from fans has been overwhelming,” said Courtney Thomasma, EVP of Linear and Streaming Products for AMC Global Media. “It’s incredibly exciting to see that enthusiasm translate into a record-breaking premiere, and to see those new viewers discovering our collection of bold, wildly original and wonderfully ‘witchy’ genre-bending stories that have made AMC+ a premier destination for supernatural and fantasy fans.”

They’re already there. They’ve hated him from the start once they got confirmation of his partner & became emboldened in their hatred once he placed a firm boundary after The MET. He’s an disposable blow up doll to them & that’s why the racism, fat phobia, ableism goes unchecked

10. Clark Backo
Clark Backo has quietly built an incredibly varied résumé across projects including Letterkenny, I Want You Back, The Changeling and Venom: The Last Dance, but Yaga gives her one of her most substantial roles yet. As Carson, a local detective drawn into an increasingly strange missing-person investigation, Backo gets to play in the show’s blend of mystery, dark humor and supernatural horror opposite an excellent ensemble led by Carrie-Anne Moss, Hudson Williams and Noah Reid.

Hudson Williams talks about how he would design his career if it were up to what excites him in the first episode of 'The Assembly' Season 2 on @cbcgem!
"It looks like me directing my own films and writing them and acting in them because I’m a selfish little diva. I like the zany, I like the bizarre. I like the strange, the horrifying, and then also working with some of my favourite Korean directors. Like original ideas, no selling out, and just like staying true to artists that inspire me."

Especially since the worst people in the fandom are often exposed as being toxic in multiple fandoms. They moved onto HR and brought their bad behavior with them.

I’m deeply tired of so-called “fandom experts” claiming heated rivalry (a show that only came out last year) is the reason fandom culture is “ruined” instead of admitting that the fandom toxicity we’re seeing has been happening for years, even decades, now

AO3 IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
they do not get paid for any of this. be kind, patient, and respectful to the volunteers who work hard to keep ao3 running, fight against censorship, and protect writers, fanfics, and people’s rights/freedom to write whatever they want, however they want
This is hurting my spirit DAYMN 😭😭😭
Now I have to actually try to complete my reading challenge with actual books for once
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
