Los stories de la novia escondida el prΓ³ximo aΓ±o que sea la premiere de S2 en Brasil pero ya no la dejen ir a la alfombra ni a firmar libros, namas pa avisarnos que ahΓ anda
π΅π»ββοΈ| Weekly releases make sense, especially if they are released at the same time as HR.
Louisa is striving for TSITP-kind of fame: weekly release parties, brands using the show for marketing, fan wars on social media, trending sounds, etc. And I think Off Campus has what it takes to achieve this.
I don't like L or her shenanigans, but I want to keep seeing Ella, Mika, India, and Antonio achieve success, and weekly releases allow for more virality and for viewers to catch on.
π΅π»ββοΈ | OFF CAMPUS S2 WEEKLY RELEASE UPDATE:
After speaking with colleagues from other publications, we're all hearing that Off Campus Season 2 is considering a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly releases.
This would follow the same strategy Prime Video has used for its popular young adult shows, including The Summer I Turned Pretty and Maxton Hall, both of which released their entire first seasons at once before switching to weekly releases for the following seasons.
π΅π»ββοΈπ | Everyone is spiraling over the possibility of Heated Rivalry and Off Campus releasing around the same time, and meanwhile, Iβm loving it.
As an entertainment journalist, this would be GOLD. Two amazing shows, two different platforms, passionate fandoms, and so many conversations worth having. Icoooooniiiiiic.
If Amazon and HBO could put the platform rivalry aside, we could get actual 2000s-style cross-promotion. Joint interviews, cast interactions, playful competition. Make it an EVENT!!!!
My guess is the HR team will move the date, but I really hope they donβt. Thereβs something iconic about letting both shows have their moment together.
Thereβs enough internet for both. We can celebrate two shows without turning every announcement into a fucking turf war!!
ELLA BRIGHT: She's filming Narcs, reportedly wrapping in November 2026, and has also worked on Gable.
Neither project currently has a confirmed promotional conflict in April 2027.
MIKA ABDALLA: She was just announced as the lead in Seeker, which begins filming in January 2027.
Unless production runs significantly longer than expected or she books something else, she should be available for the S2 promotional campaign.
STEPHEN KALYN: He's filming The Housemaid's Secret, reportedly wrapping in November 2026. The movie isn't scheduled for release until December 2027, so its major press campaign shouldn't overlap with Off Campus.
His schedule currently looks pretty clear for April.
Now, what does that mean for the cast members who will be doing other projects? Let's see...
BELMONT CAMELI: He's filming Hollow in Ireland in spring 2027, with reports suggesting production could begin in February.
This is the biggest potential conflict since filming could overlap with the MarchβApril promotional campaign. He might be able to attend a premiere, but a full international press tour could be harder to accommodate.
One thing worth considering is that S1 was a massive success, with 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days.
Amazon now knows there's an audience for this show, so I wouldn't be surprised if S2 gets an even bigger (and maybe earlier) promotional campaign.
AND WHAT ABOUT BRAZIL π§π·?!
On May 3, Prime Video announced the cast was heading to SΓ£o Paulo. By May 6, they were already in Brazil doing press and promotional events, followed by the Brazilian premiere and fan event on May 7, just 6 days before S1 dropped.
If S2 follows the same schedule, we could see another Brazil press tour around April 21β22, 2027, with an official announcement around April 18.
And considering how much love the Brazilian fans showed the cast, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon brought them back!!!!
