Apple set the standard.
Apple set the expectations.
Apple acknowledged the Problem
The standard or expectations weren't met...
Stop blaming the Internet for something Apple Created.
There's a difference between hating Apple and wanting Apple to build a better product.
Between wanting Apple to fail and wanting a better Apple.

It’s starting to feel a lot like we have hit cultural purgatory. Between gaming studios closing down, producing the weakest versions of franchise games we all love and hold dear.
