🇪🇺🇨🇦 Handel Unii Europejskiej z Kanadą wzrósł o ponad 80%! Dziś rozpoczyna się szczyt UE–Kanada w Montrealu. Wartość wymiany towarów i usług wzrosła z około 72 mld euro w 2016 roku do 130 mld euro w 2025 roku. Kanadyjski eksport towarów do UE wzrósł o niemal 21% w pierwszych ośmiu miesiącach 2026 roku. ➡️ UE jest drugim największym partnerem handlowym Kanady. ➡️ Kanada jest pierwszym pozaeuropejskim uczestnikiem unijnego programu zbrojeniowego SAFE o wartości 150 mld euro. Kanadyjska firma zdobyła już kontrakt wart około 6,4 mln euro na dostawy sprzętu wojskowego dla Polski. Kanada jest również znaczącym inwestorem w Europie. W 2025 roku kanadyjskie inwestycje bezpośrednie w UE wynosiły równowartość około 201 mld euro, a unijne w Kanadzie około 140 mld. Podczas szczytu przywódcy mają rozpocząć budowę nowego „Sojuszu na rzecz przyszłości”, obejmującego handel, obronność, technologie i bezpieczeństwo gospodarcze. Zmniejszenie zależności od Stanów Zjednoczonych jest obecnie priorytetem dla obydwu stron.
