💀 The confidence before El Clásico compared to the excuses afterwards is something else. Before the game: - “We won’t accept anything less than a historic result.” - “It would be embarrassing if we even struggled against Madrid.” - “Our midfield, led by Rodri, Pedri and De Jong, will dominate them. Even our players on the bench are better than Madrid’s.” The disrespect was unbelievable. After the game: - “We’re playing without a proper defence.” - “The team is physically exhausted.” - “We don’t have enough defensive options on the bench.” I understand that every team has weaknesses and that injuries, fitness and squad depth can affect a performance. But why is it so difficult to simply acknowledge that Real Madrid were better on the day? Madrid deserved that victory. Mourinho got his approach right, our players delivered, and we earned those three points on the pitch. You can't spend days underestimating Madrid before the game and then struggle to give the team credit after losing. Sometimes, just admit the other team outplayed you. 🤍⚪️
