I've always been curious about the future of technology and where it will lead humanity.
Blade Runner. Ghost in the Shell. Astro Boy. Cyberpunk.
The kinds of stories that ask, “What happens next to humanity?” and don’t flinch at the answer.
When AI became accessible for everyday use, I thought about creating a blog around these ideas and building a community around future discussions. But I felt like I was missing something.
Then one day, my fiancé mentioned there was going to be a Cursor Café in Cluj. And as someone who finished both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees with perfect scores, I couldn’t go there unprepared 😄
So I decided I needed to create something.
And at that moment, I came up with the idea that became the missing piece for building the kind of community I had imagined.
An additional motivation for me to work faster and harder on this idea was the fact that my fiancé and I became participants in the first Uneed Residency batch. It’s an amazing opportunity, and I hope I’ll also be able to add value there.
That’s how Prediction Jar was born 🫙

Introducing the Uneed Residency interviews 🎙️
13 founders spent a week together in a manor in Nantes. @T_Zahil sat down with the residents one by one, in the same yellow armchair, and asked them how it really started.
@ElitzaVasileva builds own.page. She skipped the corporate path after her master's, and kept going alone when her co-founder left.
@eMarboeuf ran a company for 10 years between San Francisco and France. Now he builds BWorlds, for people who make apps with AI.
@DmytroBavykin got laid off and gave himself one month to ship an MVP. He now builds DistroChef next to his engineering job.
@olexalysenko was a business analyst. Now she builds PredictionJar, a place to keep your predictions about the future, and came back for a second batch for the people.
@venelinkochev sold his first app for 40K while working a 9 to 5, then bought Directify.
@karakhanyanS ran an agency for 8 years, went broke, and built his own products to get out of debt. He built Directify, sold it to Venelin, and now builds Blogr.

Day 2 at Uneed Residency in France
What I learned and got done in just one day:
🌐 Finally created my personal website thanks to @ElitzaVasileva
🎬 Learned some video-editing tricks from @virgilerietsch including BlitzReels and using Claude/Codex for animations.
🚀 Got a friendly push from @karakhanyanS to stop overthinking and finally ship my next app (the hardest part for me ahah).
And of course, some lovely walks, board games, and great conversations!

How do you prevent X from destroying your video quality? Who knows anything about this?
I’ve been experimenting with different bitrates, frame rates, and export settings, but the compression still ruins the quality.
Has anyone found a way around this? I’d really appreciate any tips
