A lot of you are just making mouth online, both men and women.
If tradition doesn't matter, why is traditional marriage the first thing you do when you want to marry your spouse? Even churches will not join you without confirming that you traditionally wedded your wife.
It's only online you will make mouth that you will ignore the Egbe's and Umunna's when it comes to decisions about your spouse's burial.
You see how you could not do shit about settling them during your wedding? That's how you can't do shit during burial either! 😂
They are not your siblings ooooo. Lol.

Dear Young Man,
Under normal circumstances, never assume that your wife's family can possibly love you more than your own family.
This recent trend of newly successful men demonising their own families while adopting their wives' as substitutes is a disease that must encounter a vaccine, and soonest. It makes absolutely no sense.
A young man emerges into fortune, builds a home, accommodates his wife's mother, her siblings, and perhaps even finds a confidant in her father, yet almost entirely abandons his own family. And somehow, there is always a justification for it. An emotional biography carefully assembled to rationalise the weakness of men.
Suddenly, every husband's family is evil, cruel, toxic and inhabited by demons that must be cast out, while every wife's family is made up of angels and saints deserving of adoration and canonisation.
Really?
Of course, there are genuinely terrible families, and marriage does not require you to tolerate abuse or endure toxicity in the name of blood relations. But when a man must systematically vilify his own family to prove his loyalty to his wife's, perhaps the problem deserves a more honest interrogation.
Marriage is not a funeral for your family ties, and success should not become the burial ground of your roots.
Learn to establish healthy boundaries, protect your peace, honour your wife and respect her family. But do not allow the emotional politics of marriage to turn you into a stranger to the people who knew you before fortune gave you a new identity.
Blood is not always thicker than water, I agree. But neither should marriage become an excuse to rewrite history, manufacture villains and canonise an entire family simply because you have found a new home.
Wisdom is knowing how to build a new family without needlessly destroying the old one.
Good Morning Severally...

Due to too much hollywood movies, Nigerians believe the FBI is one omnipotent entity that can wave a magic wand and solve every crime and arrest anyone anywhere in the world. They have no idea that it is their local law enforcement that actually does the work the FBI ends up taking credit for.
The reason why your local law enforcement or military is seen as weak internally is simply because your leadership takes instructions from the U.S. government. Your puppet leadership works for Washington, not for you. That’s why you see the U.S. as your personal lord and saviour.

1. Your men slapped a woman who was on a call before you arrived, how was she alerting the fraudsters?
2. From the video evidence, your men didn’t attempt to identify themselves with an ID card - how was she to know they're not Kidnappers and attempt to alert neighbours (I noticed a brief moment when she might have attempted to dial another number).
3. From the video evidence, your men were dragging a suspect on the floor while another was stomping on his legs - is this the standard procedure?
No one said you shouldn't do your jobs, the manner in which you carry out these stings are inhumane and the people are asking that you should handle all cases professionally.
Dear Nigerians, when you are being arrested, guilty or not, cooperate with law enforcement, you have the right to call someone once you are at their office - use the call wisely.
Nigeria will be OK.
Sting Operation at Applewood Estate and Matters Arising
Operatives of the Lagos Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, October 26, 2026 carried out a sting operation at Applewood Estate, Orchid Road, Lekki, Lagos State, to apprehend suspected cybercrime fraudsters obtaining money from unsuspecting victims through gift cards, crypto currencies and international money transfers by impersonating several individuals.
The operation, carried out by 5am, yielded the arrest of twenty-one(21) suspected cybercrime fraudsters and five exotic cars. The fraudsters were apprehended professionally owing to diligent pre-arrest surveillance and reconnaissance of the activities of the fraudsters. A young lady that stood in the way of the operation by making telephone calls to alert the fraudsters was held and her phone confiscated until the conclusion of the operation. The phone was later released to her.
Preliminary investigations of the arrested suspects indicted nineteen(19) of them while the remaining two have been released.
All the indicted suspects will be arraigned in court immediately.
While the EFCC continues its crusade and operational dynamics against economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption, the public is enjoined to keep faith with it and loudly condemn the activities of fraudsters bringing the nation to disrepute.
The Sting Operation at Applewood Estate was professionally carried out, with no record of harassment, intimidation or unlawful arrest of anyone. The Commission is open to constructive engagement by well-meaning Nigerians but blackmailers and alarmists will not be allowed to sabotage its mandate.

As a guy, your highest chance of experiencing anything close to true love is with a girl that likes you first. That’s why you must continually work on yourself to become someone worthy of being sought after.
No be today I don dey talk this things since but because I nor get name my own nor fly 😖😂
So VDM didn't know about the Adelekes when Davido reportedly lodged him in an expensive hotel, where he also ate a plate of rice that costs over N12k and happy to talk about it, so he didn't know Adelekes spent recklessly when he joyfully attended Davido's lavish wedding where some APC faithfuls gathered, and even the governor of Osun State attended? So he didn't know Davido was all this and that when he rode on their fame? All of a sudden he's now concerned about money lavndering and misusing of public funds after he had a fallout with Davido.
This is the same person who criticized Don Jazzy but started singing praises after a N100m was donated to his NGO business.
Same person who criticized Victor Osimhen over an alleged donation, yet was quick to hop on a free plane with his brother to Turkey to celebrate the Osimhen at Galatasaray.
Same person who wanted to be ahead of everyone during the August 1st End Bad Governance protest, then switched sides against peaceful protesters, and then started supporting the protest again after backlash.
He seems to choose any side that is convenient, and benefits the NGO.
