Why I'm bullish on @metricxyz, and the part nobody's talking about.
1/ The product
$4.4B volume in 30 days on ~$12M of deposits. Not a typo.
Pools don't price themselves. Chainlink/Pyth sets the reference, liquidity sits in bins around it and moves with the market. Arbs have nothing to pick off, so the spread goes to LPs instead of the bot.
Prop desks ran this privately for years. Metric made it permissionless. First oracle-priced DEX where NVDA, AAPL, QQQ and SK Hynix actually trade on-chain with depth. BNB Chain is routing bStocks through it. Ex-Uniswap eng director as CTO. 5 audits. Open source.
2/ The ledger
Open devtools, The frontend already ships a live points ledger: weekly Mon–Sun epochs, ownPoints + referralPoints per wallet, accruing for three things:
> swaps
> LPing
> creating pools
Zero public mention of a points program. The code is just sitting there tracking.
3/ What I don't like
LPing is real market-making risk. The APR column hides inventory losses. Long-tail pools are traps. Stick to the green ones.
No token. Referrals live, terms next week. Swap and LP before the sybil farms show up.
