Irish people born here, the only country they have ever known as home, become homeless and this Government gives them a telephone number for a dirty, disgusting, unsafe hostel. No guaranteed bed. Out the next morning. No legal right to anything more. Meanwhile, foreign men waltz into this country with outrageous claims and can take the State to court to enforce reception conditions Irish homeless people have no equivalent right to. It’s an abhorrent, anti-Irish obscenity. This Government created that system. This Government chose it. This Government made a conscious decision to do that to you. This Government made you a second class citizen in law in your own country. There is no point pretending things are normal anymore. This country is currently on life support.

Greece has passed a new law imposing at least 10 years in prison and a €50,000 fine on NGO workers who help migrants cross its borders illegally, even if they do it for free. Anyone else who commits the same offense faces at least five years in prison and a €20,000 fine.
NGO workers who help illegal migrants hide from police or remain in Greece can receive up to 10 years in prison.
Transporting or hiding them carries at least 10 years and a €60,000 fine for every migrant involved.
The government can also remove the entire NGO from its official list as soon as a member is charged.

A quick search on the suspect’s Instagram shows him breaking the law in his own country, showing off stacks of cash and posting multiple photos of naked children.
The Irish Government was using taxpayer money to house him.

Stephen Ogilvie, victim of the horrific attempted beheading in Belfast, remains in a coma tonight.
