How it started vs. how it's going: On the left is @onepay's first employee all hands in August 2021 that dialed into when we had just 8 employees. On the right is Doug dropping by the OnePay NYC office for our all hands last week — this time with our 550 colleagues and millions of customers. Our business looks very different now, but a few things haven't changed. The couch (look closely) is the same. The team is bigger but more customer-obsessed than ever. And Doug's belief (alongside John Furner and @mickymalka) that an investment in OnePay a few years ago could help create a category-defining fintech that serves tens of millions has never wavered. It’s been among the great honors of my career to be in the orbit of a leader like Doug. We sometimes throw around overused words about CEOs like “once-in-a-generation.” That phrase is not an exaggeration with Doug — he's a genuinely exceptional leader and I’m grateful to have been a very small part of the story he’s spent the last 30+ years writing. Doug: congratulations on an incredible run — and thank you for your leadership and belief in what OnePay could become.

We hosted OnePay Nation this week — an event featuring customers from all 50 states that was aimed squarely at answering the question of how to make money better in America. Our customers are the “why” behind @onepay. They’re the reason we show up every day to deliver on a simple but powerful belief: that better money makes life better. This week was a clear reminder of just how important that belief is — for both the millions of OnePay customers who trust us today and the tens of millions more that we hope to have the opportunity to serve in the future.
