Another Christian family in Bengal has alleged an attack over their faith.
Parvati Soren from East Midnapore alleges that around 30 people, including relatives and people linked to VHP, assaulted her over her Christian faith.

An FIR was registered at Panskura police station on October 28.
At the time of reporting, no arrests had been made.
Parvati also alleged that the police advised her family to practise their religious rituals indoors and not use a speaker. (7/8)
The harassment allegedly continued even after the assault. Parvati said relatives pressured a loan agency representative not to process a loan application because she and her husband had embraced Christianity. (8/8)
