Solid 1st team debut last night by Lenny for @Bowerspitseafc Great watching him playing again within an environment he is enjoying. Got plenty of stick from behind the goal too which he took in good humour! All valuable experience for a 17 yr old! Well done to all involved 👏🏻

Had no doubt he’d make saves when it went to pens. Been exceptional since he to us. Class keeper.💪

What a night for our U23's stepping in to play 1st team football in the Velocity Cup. Again proving a clear pathway from Bowers youth into the 1st team. #UpTheBowers

Grassroots coaching is about more than football. You’ll wear many hats: • Counsellor • Mediator • Teacher • Pastoral Support • Role Model Be ready to make a difference beyond the pitch. These are often the most challenging, yet most rewarding parts of the role.

Coaches I assume you are not planning on putting your potential Division 7 Under 12 League Championship title on your personal LinkedIn profile? So stop managing teams like that’s all that matters! Screaming at every 50/50 decision!!! It’s grassroots…..Relax!!

If you are paying money to a club you are NOT on an academy pathway. Parents are paying ridiculous amounts & then telling everyone ‘little Tommy’ plays for a pro-academy for clout! Just be a realist. If your child is good enough they will make their way without the nonsense!
