Backend for branded trading apps on Solana, Polymarket and Hyperliquid Steal ideas from our open-source https://nitter.cf/t.co/nXQFMuDxhZ Docs: https://nitter.cf/t.co/PJcno3PVZM

We got tired of the crypto space being dominated by giants with million-dollar budgets, so we built OpenDEX. Got an idea for an app on Solana, Hyperliquid or Polymarket? Build it. Focus on your product, UX, and whatever makes your idea special. We’ll handle the backend.

if we had to build a blockchain trading terminal from scratch in 2026, we’d do these 3 things: 1. Get trade execution engine tested before polishing the rest of the code. submit a trade, track it, show what actually happened. Handle failures and retries without buying twice. 2. Build one feature worth switching for. e.g. a scanner built around a specific strategy. A wallet and socials tracking feed that filters out the noise. Something you can explain without saying “like X, but cleaner.” 3. Make the numbers explainable. what counts as a “won” trade? What period does PnL cover? If you can’t explain a column, don’t ship it yet. we’d also stop rebuilding infrastructure that wasn’t our edge (and just use @opendex_ws). it gives you documented APIs for scanner data, wallets, execution, order tracking, and realtime updates. go to opendex.ws to get started for free.

let’s break down how to build a custom Solana token scanner. 1. HARD: building from scratch start with an RPC connection. that gets you chain data. not a table of tokens with prices, liquidity, and market caps. you still need to: • discover launches, pools, and swaps • decode different launchpad and DEX schemas • handle token decimals and quote currencies • calculate prices from the right pool state • decide which price to show when a token has multiple pools • follow tokens from bonding curves into migrated pools • normalize everything into one format • build rolling volume and transaction counts • store, index, and serve the results • handle duplicate events, reconnects, and stale data Pump’s bonding curve, PumpSwap, and Raydium’s different pool types don’t share one pricing model. even “just divide the pool balances” isn’t a universal price formula. then you get to build the scanner UI you originally wanted. 2. EASY: use the OpenDEX backend get a free API key and give it to your agent together with the docs link. our API delivers normalized, filterable results, sorting, pagination, and realtime updates. say you only want Solana tokens with: • $500k–$5m MC • at least $100k liquidity plus editable presets for: • fresh launches • callers from your TG cool. ask for exactly that and watch your agent one-shot it (you don’t even need the latest model). you still need to test the integration. but you don’t need to maintain a collection of protocol decoders just to get your first scanner screen working.

here’s how to build a Solana copytrader that only buys when a token meets your rules. say you want: • market cap between $500k and $5m • at least $100k liquidity • token age above 1 hour 1. pick the wallet you can find top wallets by PNL on @USENOHOMO, and copy their public addresses. 2. watch for buys use OpenDEX wallet activity as the input. when a buy comes in, take the token address and check its current market data. 3. check your filters before placing anything MC outside your range? skip. not enough liquidity? skip. token too new? skip. missing data? skip that too. this is a custom filtering layer you can build with your AI agent in under an hour using our free api key 4. set your own trade size choose your amount, set slippage, and submit through the authenticated trading flow using your authorized execution wallet. 5. decide how you exit copying buys is only half the setup. decide whether to follow sells or use your own exit rules before switching it on. the complete flow: wallet buys → your product (can be simple localhost) checks token → applies filters → submits the trade. That’s it. Drop your questions below👇

STOP DOING THIS IF YOU WANT YOUR PRODUCT TO GO LIVE ON CHAIN stop turning your trading app into an infrastructure company before anyone has used it. you wanted to build a better solana terminal. now you’re writing an indexer. running workers. designing a database. managing websocket subscriptions. tracking transactions. debugging why a swap landed but the UI still says pending. none of that was the product idea. the idea was a better way to trade. a scanner with filters nobody else has. a wallet tracker that makes activity readable. a workflow you wished existed. but the product is still localhost because you’re six projects deep into the backend. the monthly bill is only part of it. RPC access. compute for indexing. storage for queryable history. servers pushing updates to connected users. workers following orders through execution. wallet and account infrastructure. you can start some of those on free tiers. you can run several on the same server. you can keep the bill low. you still have to build them, connect them, and keep them working. a websocket connection is not a live scanner. a submitted transaction is not a completed trade. a wallet address is not a portfolio. there’s a lot of code between “the API returned something” and “a person can reliably use this.” if that code is your edge, build it. if your product needs a custom execution engine, own it. if your strategy depends on a specific indexing pipeline, write it. but if your edge is the interface, the workflow, or how you help someone understand the market, why is your launch waiting on infrastructure? that’s why we built opendex. market data, scanners, realtime updates, wallets, execution and order tracking behind one backend, with AI-ready APIs. start with one opendex key (free) build the screen. connect real data. get a usable flow in front of someone. and if you want a starting point instead of a blank repo, Ombra is our open-source trading terminal. fork it and make it yours. you’ll still have engineering to do. but you don’t have to own every layer just because your app runs on chain. ship the part people came for. what’s the one backend task currently blocking your launch?

what it takes to build a solana trading terminal: RPC for chain access: ~$49/mo indexer workers for swaps: ~$50/mo websocket server: ~$20/mo execution + tracking workers: ~$25/mo wallet + account infra: ~$25/mo engineers to build and maintain all of it ~ $15k+/mo

If you have an idea for an app on @solana, @HyperliquidX, or @Polymarket but the onchain data and backend are slowing you down, let’s connect. We’ll help with market data, realtime streams, wallets and execution (for free). Let’s ship more apps together.

What happens when you give an AI agent an @opendex_ws API key? We tested it. With our AI-first docs, it built a read-only FOMO wallet tracker in under 30 mins: • ranked Solana wallets by 7-day realized PnL • added a local Following list, keyed by chain and wallet address👇

• connected live swaps through a server-side WebSocket → SSE bridge • made each swap inspectable, down to amounts, addresses and the transaction link What would you make it build next?

Great meeting fellow Solana builders in Vietnam. Thanks @SuperteamVN for bringing everyone together. If you’ve been wanting to build on Solana but haven’t started yet, what’s stopping you?
Vietnam is a great option for Solana builders: massive crypto-native population, low cost of living, great food. Easy to travel anywhere in Asia in a few hours. Was a pleasure to meet Solana teams: @lpagent_io @yodlpay @gopaymoji @opendex_ws @Mermailapp @OnePlan_Travel @polarislabxyz @BasalPay_App + others (sorry if I forgot!) Massive shoutout to @SuperteamVN, and many thanks to @LynnWWins, @dieubui2522, and @LavieTran214 for being wonderful hosts in Vietnam. Hope to be back soon!

Want to onboard builders on @solana, @HyperliquidX or @Polymarket? This is the way. Give them one API key for the entire backend and an open-source terminal to fork.

Claude, please calculate this wallet’s PnL:

one free OpenDEX API key can give you the building blocks for an entire trading product, without spending months (or millions) building from scratch. here’s what’s included:

the opportunity? you can spend your weekend building a trading product instead of spending six months recreating its backend. docs: portal.opendex.ws/docs bookmark this. build something already.
