Today I commented on a post from a SpaceX HR representative advertising for new positions in Memphis. Let me preface this by saying I am no enemy of SpaceX; I find their mission to be a worthwhile cause, and I do not oppose the institution, nor would any criticism nor warning I have of them be greater than any institution when it comes to this matter. The man commented that they were looking for people who work "with a maniacal sense of urgency" and "have a proven record." I regarded that such things do two things: 1. They pose some danger to the health and wellbeing of workers. 2. They bar entry level workers from entering the workplace. I regarded that such circumstances necessitate that some special circumstance must exist to demand such things, in addition, such circumstances must be compensated with an equal or greater sacrifice; for failure to do such things is evil; and depending on how far it may go, it is akin to slavery. The man, who I will not name, so as to protect his reputation, blocked me for such a thing with no comment. So to any who may visit my page from this comment, understand this, and to any who would look further, understand as well that it is a disservice to me, and a disservice to God to then go and slander the man, and a disservice to SpaceX. Today, folks, let us understand that the freedom we have in the Capitalist system is intended to a blessing to all; to those who would provide opportunity to labor, and those who would provide the labor. It is not one that goes without regulation, though, for a slave who contractually signed a deal of slavery, is still a slave. Let us remember the importance of investing in those who would be under us.

This Is Totally Fine - Rakarious Here's another piece I commissioned from Rakarious a couple years ago before his retirement from the Internet. In this scene, we depict one of my very first character, originally made in World of Warcraft, Kellogg, and his wife, Aedna. This was originally part of a larger project, which, I may or may not pick back up. If I do, the larger project is certainly not ready for public announcement. This piece was inspired by some of the mall music you hear in the first Dead Rising game, as well as the whole scene.

One of the things I think people have not noticed: The larger any group or organization is, the less it is able to operate consistently on the same page and with the same mindset and approach. This is why you see officials of a company, or even a nation, do things that may even be contradictory to what others, or even the head of that group or organization believes and does.

Tonight, I saw one of the great tragedies of the modern world unfold before my very eyes, but on the surface, it would've looked like a regular day to day occurrence. I work at a supermarket, and while I was working, I saw a gentleman in the beer section with a young girl, presumably his daughter, and he was perusing the beers. His daughter spoke up, "Daddy, we need lemonade", and the man simply said nothing. He didn't even look at her. Over the next 20 seconds, she probably repeated herself two or three times, and the same thing happened. Eventually, the girl says "Daddy I'm gonna go get the lemonade" before going away and the man was completely unphased. The man made a decision tonight. Tonight, he decided to choose his peace of mind over giving his daughter attention. Tonight, he taught the girl a lesson: Daddy doesn't care about her. The girl will likely struggle with it for the rest of her life. In addition, she will learn that if people do not reply to her, it will hit her much harder as a teenager and an adult. Now, I'm not saying one time is enough to do all of this, but folks, the orientation of your heart needs to be that you better pray one time is not enough to do all of this. I'm also not saying the man should've dropped what he's doing and said: "Of course, sweetie, let's go get that lemonade", but he should've at least done something to show her that he's listening to her and show that her input matters, even if he doesn't go through with that specific request. Folks, if you have been blessed to have a marriage and offspring of your own, VALUE what you have. Hold onto it, cherish it, treasure it, and if you don't...one day you might not have it anymore.

Would be nice if it came with some game discounts or free games for your Steam Machine as well
