Unlike the cliche of everything seeming smaller when you go back to visit, everything seems so much bigger and better! Liverpool’s always been a bit of a village but I suppose it was so depressed in the 80s, that I don’t remember any of these places or opportunities!

… and along there is where we could clear our MacDonalds every night with mass takeout orders. Mainly halfpounders (megaburgers). Suppose young boys have to eat occasionally ;)

I didn’t think I’d remember any of it, particularly as it’s gone all posh, but it’s like it was yesterday. Suppose I spent quite a few years here and shops might change but street layouts don’t so much
