Weโd like to wish Oskar Kolk all the very best as he begins life at @RMASandhurst today.
Kolky has been one of our most consistent batters, and a ๐ of a bloke since his debut in 2018 and we hope to still see him in 2022 from time to time!

On the eve of battle, 80 years ago. Operation Overlord was about to begin. The vanguard.
They dropped from the flak filled skies, 7,000 highly trained troops of the British 6th Airborne Division paved the way for the liberation of Europe.ย
Surrounded and vastly outnumbered, they fought on for 82 days in non stop front line action.ย
From the bridges of the Caen Canal, the assault on the heavily fortified Merville Battery and the break out to the River Seine, the 6th Airborne Division fought hard as the spearhead of the allied invasion forces.ย
Losses were sobering. 542 killed. 1,623 wounded. 725 missing. Almost one man in five was a casualty.ย
We will remember them ๐ฌ๐ง

Joining the Paras opens up opportunities you may not realise are out there. Here, Paratroopers across the Regiment compete in the HYROX Men's PRO doubles. This was funded by the Battalions (no cost to the soldiers) and was a fantastic day with all teams completing the competition between 1hr 3mins and 1hr 11mins, which is rapid! Well done team!

Shane Warne wasn't like other sportsmen.
A sex-mad cricketing genius, he once summed up his life: "I smoked, I drank, and I bowled a bit of leg spin. I don't have any regrets."
From sexting scandals to lasagne sandwiches, welcome to Warnie's World.

The journey to becoming a Paratrooper is far from average. Only hard work and dedication pays off.
