a big misconception in GTM engineering is that you need a ton of tools
in reality, fewer is better and most aren’t connecting THAT many things
you’d be surprised how much you can do with:
@clay: data, orch. execution, learning loops
@bot: build almost anything
@NotionHQ: context later
@zero_gtm: AI-native CRM

Every AI agent at work runs with the access of whoever set it up.
That’s why security keeps saying no.
Today we’re launching @mintive: every agent gets its own identity and permissions, the same way every employee does.
We’ve raised $11M, with @cowboyvc leading our latest round.
The bottleneck for enterprise AI agents isn't intelligence anymore.
It's trust: can you let them act without losing control?
That's the problem @JiquanNgiam and the @mintive team are solving, and I'm excited to support this team to bring this vision to life.
I built a game this weekend: GeoGuessr x Duolingo.
You're an alien who just landed on Earth. Look at the clues (signs, storefronts, street scenes) and say hello in the right language.
Get it right: you make an earthling friend.
Get it wrong: you're ejected to Mars.
I lasted 11 landings. Beat me: greetings-earthlings.netlify…
Feedback welcome!
I lived in Boston and SF the longest outside my hometown in China. The biggest difference is what smart people do with their intellect.
Boston: chase curiosity, power discovery.
SF: build, transact, make money.
Neither is better. But you can feel which one you're in within 10 minutes.
when a product marketer and a creative marketer wrestles:
the product marketer wants precision
the creative marketer wants juicy bits that trigger virality
right now, the creative marketer absolutely wins.
what I love about marketing as an operator: it’s the one GTM function where a bet can blow past every forecast.
some problems are meant to be solved at a higher abstraction level.
sometimes 996 doesn't amount to any meaningful progress.
sometimes growth in headcount doesn't add up to more impact.
sometimes more products released doesn't drive any adoption or revenue, or anything other than the dopamine of having done something.
sometimes, you're simply not solving the right problem and/or no one is brave enough to ask the right questions.
MintMCP has a new name! We're now Mintive:

I wish someone could do to my closet what I just asked codex to do with my downloads and files folder today
Started using @bot for many of my lighter consumer use cases (moved away from @claudeai) and it's been a much better experience given how much faster it responds.
Our monthly friend dinners are already on the books, tennis courts for weekly lessons are booked, and I have a bot scoping out my favorite brands for sales.
Twitter creates the perception that Sf is all young tech bros who won’t date until series B
But sit outside for a morning at a random neighborhood coffee shop in Hayes Valley and you’ll see that there are plenty of creatives and hippies community folks of all ages in this city
You just gotta get IRL
Long term relationship building for the sake of it (not because the relationship could be a strategic asset)
The companies I am worried the most about in this era of mass AI adoption are Saas companies that have squeezed every dollar of value from their customers on some monetization framework from the 2010s.
Models are getting smarter and cheaper, and an average worker has also become more fluent in using them.
Soon that $150k line item will start to seem completely unnecessary.
