Nearly 5 years ago I had a #stroke. I lost the ability to talk. However, after intensive speech therapy, I can talk and work. But many people don't realise that a stroke can happen at any time. 16% of strokes in the UK happened to people below the age of 60. (1/2)
Today, I have planned and produced a piece on @bbc5live highlighting this at 2pm. The charity, @diffstrokes, helped enormously with this so a big shout out to them. Don't forget to tune in! (1/2)
