A big win for Wednesday in round one 💪 Final score: Owls 6-0 Gateshead, a late Robinson penalty made it five and Cawley added a sixth in stoppage time! Well done boys 👏

Just to update the all time appearance list after Sunday’s game. @LiamJPalmer (521) continues to chase down all time leader Andrew Wilson (546) while @bazzabannan25 heads towards his 500th appearance (493) which will make him only the fifth @swfc player to reach that total

My uncle John Lee plays The Last Post at Hillsborough every year and I’m obviously not remotely biased, but he does the occasion justice every single time. Not a note out of place. A spine-tingling moment and always incredibly proud watching him do it. 💙 #SWFC

Another 30,000 + gate at S6 means SEVEN in a row, the best since a run of 28 consecutive games in the early 1950s. Truly remarkable considering we are currently in the third tier! Well done to my fellow @swfc fans for giving enormous backing to the new owners UTO! .#swfc

Can’t fault the exit decision, even though emotions will be mixed. Henrik Pedersen put himself on the line for #SWFC & stood by the club in its darkest days. The new owners stood by him - & I’d guess even Henrik’s severest critics have some admiration & gratitude for him. But this has been a rare case of performances counting above results. They haven’t been consistently good enough to carry support from an already sceptical fan base or to suggest continuity. The club has to regain the special togetherness of its rebirth. I think that has been the biggest factor of all. Though it doesn’t preclude thanks & good wishes to a great guy who strove hard for what everyone wanted.

One week to go until our Remembrance game against Blackpool, and we're turning the North Stand into a giant poppy display. Sat in the North Stand on Sunday 1st? Be in your seat early, find your flyer and hold it up when asked. Let's make it one to remember. #SWFC #LestWeForget

Another amazing 30,000+ crowd at @swfc meaning the record of 6 consecutive 30k plus crowds of 1991 has now be equaled, also equaling the run of 6 games between August - September 1956! If the next home game is over that figure then it’s the best since 1953! #swfc @storchyowl

Decent test and 3-1 victory for @swfc U21s v @Swallownest_fc in Sheff and Hallam Cup, never going to be easy but equipped themselves well, through to the next round. Good to see 👍 2 assists @willgrainger08 and well done to the young lads who made the step up ⚽️👏

It’s a sad night for the programme collectors tonight as for the first time 1900 @swfc fail to print a programme for a first team competitive home fixture (excluding the Covid seasons). The run started for the opening game of the 1900/01 season and ends after 126 years…#swfc

Some perspective… 18 new signings… team that’s never played together before…. Horrendous injury luck…. Brutal financial restrictions…. Some tough games…. 30k plus at every home game… record season tickets… record shirt sales…. Back to back clean sheets… 2nd in the league after 7 games and only 1 point back. Last season our club nearly fell away into oblivion…. This Summer everyone was talking about managing expectations and how happy we should be with even something like 8th place. And here we sit! We could only have dreamed of this a year ago. A bright future in our hands… for the first time in a long time. Back the lads. Back the gaffer…. They’re all working incredibly hard. Stay positive! Keep perspective! Be patient! Let’s leave the boos out and all of us do our part to make Hillsborough the fortress it should be when we’re 30k plus every week. Let’s make it the loudest ground in the country. Let’s have teams dreading the trip to S6!! Enjoy the break all. #wawaw

Thanks for all the well wishes for recovery. @swfc fans are the greatest in football maybe in all of sport. I love you guys. Surgery next Thursday will be in a race with @LouieBarry6 to see who gets back in action at Hillsborough sooner. Hope I get back fast… but pray he gets back faster!! Up the Owls! #WAWAW

If you also count the final game of last season then @swfc have four consecutive 30,000 crowds equaling the 1993/4 mark. With @StockportCounty certain to also exceed the mark on Saturday then 5 in a row was last achieved in the last 5 S6 games of 1990/1 2/2
