A great advertisement for Laravel Cloud. You literally could have tons of projects on cloud and they were all patched without even pushing a button

At 14:00 UTC two critical security vulnerabilities will be patched in PHP. These are extremely serious vulnerabilities affecting every PHP application on the web. Laravel Cloud customers: we will begin automatically patching your applications as soon as the patch is released. No manual action is required. Laravel Forge customers: you will need to manually update your server’s PHP version via the server’s Forge dashboard. If you are unable to update your server, it should be powered down. Laravel Vapor customers: we will begin automatically re-deploying applications running on PHP 8 as soon as the patch is released. No patch is being released for PHP 7 -- immediately update all applications to PHP 8.

One-click mitigation for php2shell vulnerability: If you have Cloudflare in front of your PHP website, please login to the dashboard and click this button to make sure you are protected. dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:ac… This reduces your risk but doesn't fix the vulnerabilities in PHP. We recommend updating PHP to a patched version.

Just published Best Before, a package to make sure temporary code, like backfill commands, is deleted instead of hanging around for years. Plop #[BestBefore('2026-12-25')] on a class or a method and CI will fail once it's gone off. Like out-of-date milk! 🥛

It can hurt when an open source maintainer rejects your idea, especially when you've put time into building it. But a rejection isn't always a "never". Sometimes it’s a "not now". Let me explain... 👇

The past month, I've spent some time building a Mac app for running coding agents. It's called Bloom. Projects on the left, the agent in the middle, and a diff on the right. It's free, open source, and written in Swift.

@LaraconUS never stops going, neither does our Engineering team. Here are some of the features @taylorotwell walked through yesterday: ◆ Your Laravel Cloud stack sleeps and wakes in under 500 ms (MySQL included), and managed queues scale to zero when your queue is empty. ◆ Deploy your Next.js/Nuxt frontend on Cloud, from the same repo as your Laravel app. ◆ Laravel LSP brings VS Code's autocomplete and navigation to any editor. ◆ Inertia DevTools shows you every request, header, and hydrated prop. Read the recap for all the details: laravel.com/blog/everything-…
