Looking back, it’s extraordinary how Lloyd Cole managed to rhyme Eve Marie Saint with On the Waterfront.
Must admit, was a little surprised to hear @116sen’s Simpson declare in the first quarter that Melbourne was ‘not up to it’. Seemed a tad early.
Just show the game, @7AFL. Virtually missed a goal cos of copious over-analysing. So tedious.
Channel 7 continually failing at its primary job: showing the game. Consistently misses centre bounces cos replays and ‘analysis’. Plus talking over game with endless discussion of contracts and who is returning when from injury. KISS.
Perhaps it’s a desperate need for positivity, but this has been my favourite post-Ashes article so far.
Thought we were doing well at @MelbourneAFLW with the great Paxy Paxman, but Swans have a Zippy Fish and a Sargent-Wilson. Too good.
