An emotional day. Little guy is growing up.

Building powerful long running agents requires a powerful agent harness. Now it's easier than ever inside of @Microsoft Foundry with the new Microsoft Copilot harness in Foundry Agent Service! 🧑💻
Build and govern a powerful agent powered by the same harness optimized across GitHub, Microsoft 365, and Copilot scenarios for agents that can accomplish complex and long running enterprise tasks -- no code required. All secured and governed in Foundry 🔐

Our developer surfaces now share a harness to make continuity across surfaces real. #GitHubUniverse
Ultimately why I find concepts like FDE's odd in bigger companies. Go into startup land and you will be up close and personal with customers on the daily. Everyone should be closing the gap to speed up learning cycles.

Apps on the iPhone Duo really do put you back in the early iPad era. Terminal on the folded open display is unmatched though. Love it.

No repo left behind. We’ve replicated 99.99999% of our Git repositories on Azure. The last 0.00001% are our busiest. This new blog post explores how changing the way our quorum serializes writes opens the door to replicas that keep no persistent state of their own. github.blog/engineering/arch…

We still want to find a way to bring the community together. If you planned to be in California for the Grace Hopper Celebration, I invite you to join us this year for GitHub Universe, Oct 28-29. 🌉
We've set aside 75 complimentary passes for folks with cancelled registrations. While this doesn't replace the conference and Universe has far fewer attendees than GHC, my hope is that it does give folks an opportunity to connect with each other. 📷 DM the GitHub team on LinkedIn or email me at [email protected] (first come first serve).
Gave my @github agents a kitchen instead of a factory so I can watch them cook.
Giving the people what they want. Yes, the new @Microsoft Surface Ultra laptop charger can be tugged out.
@pavandavuluri and @satyanadella I swear the laptop will be returned in good working order.
One of my favorite touches on the Surface Ultra is the magnetic charger. If you forget it, the port turns into a regular USB-C charging port. Exactly how it should be.
Yes, it does tug. nitter.cf/patniko/status/2108280…

me: Pretty nice how I don't lose a port when I don't have the retail charger.
everyone else: But can you yank the shit out of it?
Spent all night tempted to do aggressive yank tests with my company laptop.
