Rest easy, Coach. Forever a Chicago legend. 🕊️
I just taught my 3rd son to ride a bike. Took about 5 minutes for him to figure it out.
Here’s the secret: never give your kids training wheels!
Get a balance bike. Once they master balancing, pedaling comes easy!

Repost for the chance to win a @kylemonangai signed helmet
Before church this morning, two of my kids were in the living room reading an illustrated Pilgrims Progress together.
Another two were singing Christmas Hymns together (never mind that’s it’s September).
It’s a great Lord’s Day!
Husbands, yet another reason to make sure your family goes to church!
"No group of Americans seems to be having more sex—and more satisfying sex—than married men & women who regularly attend a place of worship. In fact, we find the only Americans who have avoided the country’s “sex recession” are husbands & wives who attend religious services at least twice a month." ~ my latest @TheAtlantic w/ @grantjbailey

Yet another reason I’m thankful for Presbyterianism.
Second Baptist Church of Houston, led by Ed Young Sr, just won a crazy lawsuit over their church governance.
Several congregants sued after Ed Young Sr. appointed his son Ben as successor to the church without taking a congregational vote.
Prior to this, in an effort to get him appointed without opposition, the Texas megachurch held a church business meeting to change the bylaws. The meeting was briefly only publicized and intentionally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
According to the lawsuit, the majority of members didn't understand that through the language of the vote, they were actually voting to REMOVE their ability to vote on church-related matters in the future, including this on.
Super slimy.
The judge ruled that the court was not the appropriate venue to determine what a biblical church was, and therefore handed the win to the church.
