Dear readers, I’m delighted to share the wonderful news that my new book, Murmurs from the Hills, translated into English by Mark Polizzotti, will be published by Archipelago Books on November 10th.
"In her seventh book with Archipelago, Scholastique Mukasonga braids myth and memory as she trains an eye to her childhood in colonial Rwanda and later years in France. She reflects on her previous novels, and the hills and elders inscribing her childhood. Mark Polizzotti’s translation captures Mukasonga’s voice moving restlessly across form."
