The series drew considerable acclaim for returning the Hulk to his roots as a frightening, almost supernatural figure.

Happy Birthday to Bernie Wrightson, whose haunting cover depicts an axe-wielding figure standing over a bloodied body.
FUN FACT: “The Ninth Skeleton” adapts a story by Clark Ashton Smith, one of the major contributors to Weird Tales magazine and a contemporary of H. P. Lovecraft. The series lasted just two issues, with the second featuring a painted cover by Jon J. Muth.

On Jan. 21, 2010, Citizens United changed our country by letting unlimited, secret money flood our political system.
Sixteen years later, we’re still living with the consequences: more corporate money, less transparency, and a system that works better for the wealthy and well-connected than for hardworking Americans. We need to change that.
