Unbrella is coming to Android ☂️
The Android beta is open: minute-by-minute rain, radar, home screen widgets and severe weather notices. No ads, no account, and Premium is free during the beta.

This will be a priority. We already have really great MCP and command-line access, which is critical for agents.
Just as I start to use @bot more, I realize that the $30 X plan does NOT come with enough usage for how I was planning on using it 😅 maybe I just used this much because of all the setup of the bots I was doing...
I have 11 AI assistants helping me run an X account with 1,790 followers.
That's one assistant for every ~163 of you.
Very normal behavior

Under the Hood now shows you which posts received a visibility-limiting label, making it easier to see what’s affected: nitter.cf/i/jf/under_the_hood
This was a top request — thanks for the feedback.
You’ll see the specific posts listed when fewer than 5% of your posts during the report period have that label.

I lead product for Claude subscriptions. Today we're renaming our Max plans, and I want to explain why.
When we launched our top plan in April 2025, it had a single limit: 5 hours. It gave you 20x Pro's limit, so we called it Max 20x. When we added weekly limits to Max 20x, we set them to 10x Pro's (the 5-hour limit stayed at 20x).
I get that some new users assumed 20x applied to both limits. We could have done better here, and I'm sorry.
The Ultra plan keeps the weekly limit (10x Pro), but we're removing the 5-hour limit so you can keep building without getting blocked mid-session. This starts today and rolls out in stages. To help prevent fraud and abuse, a temporary limit applies until we've verified your account. You'll get an email when your limit is removed.
We've got more cooking and can't wait to share it. Thanks for building with Claude 🙏
We’re renaming our Max plans:
Max 5x → Max
Max 20x → Ultra
Max is still $100/month, and Ultra is still $200. If you’re a subscriber, there’s nothing you need to do.
We’re also removing the 5-hour limit for verified Ultra accounts, starting today with most existing subscribers. Newer accounts keep a temporary limit until they’re verified, which helps us prevent fraud and abuse. You'll get an email when it's removed.
Weekly limits remain unchanged. View our plans here: claude.com/pricing
Spent way too long trying to prompt my AI agent out of double-reporting homelab alerts. Even with a tighter prompt it kept doing it. A plain old script fixed it. Not everything needs to be AI 🤷♂️

I've had way too many weather apps buzz me about rain that never showed up. So in Unbrella, rain alerts wait for a stronger, closer signal before they go off. That way when it buzzes, it actually means it!

For the first time in a while, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB Framework Desktop configurations are all in-stock. We've seen demand increase for each capacity, in part because we have some of the most aggressive pricing available for this amount of memory.
Trying out @theo's T3 today for the first time. Wasn't sure I liked the new layout structure (where you don't see the project folders but just see the thread that you can settle) but idk, I think it's growing on me.
Any tips for a brand-new T3 user?
Have you ever moved something from self-hosted back to a cloud service? What made you give up on running it yourself?
Hot take: I'd rather have one AI agent that actually knows my stuff than five that each know a little bit. Hermes with an Obsidian vault for memory has been working really well for me
Favorite Unbrella bug so far: rain alerts going off for basically nothing. Turns out the alert code wasn't the real problem...three different parts of the app just couldn't agree on what counted as rain -_-
Ran the same prompt through every reasoning level of @claudeai Opus 5.5. Low: 1:32. Max: 9:25. Max won...but the real jump was low → medium. If you're running low to save time, you're leaving a lot on the table
Question for the iOS devs: how are y'all handling App Store screenshots now? I just redid mine for the iPhone Duo update and it took way longer than the actual code 😅
Which are you using for coding right now? Claude Code, Codex, T3 Code, or something else? Curious where everyone's landed 👇
$199 for a Bambu A1 mini is kind of insane
I used to have one before it went to my father-in-law. If you've been on the fence about getting into 3D printing, this is the one to grab. The Combo with the AMS lite for 4 colors is $299
