2A having both 17th seeded Eastland-Pearl City and 22nd seeded Shelbyville shows conference strength matters.
3A has 23rd seeded Pontiac alive and kicking too.
Wild times but its cool to see given these kids wouldn't have made it into the playoffs under the previous system.
Shoutout needed to Drew Kordys and his Sparta squad. They'd lost 31 consecutive games before he took over in 2025. Went 4-5 last year, but this year finished 8-3 while making their first playoff appearance since 1992! Had perennial power Williamsville on the ropes today too.
