The final ep of Gay Girl Gone dropped this week. I really enjoyed making this wild & thought provoking show. The story took place a decade ago but resonated more and more as we reported and wrote it. Huge congrats to this top team... podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…
Producer/writer @brennad87 skilfully crafted the story with care alongside host/writer @SMohyeddin, who vividly transported us to the early days of the internet. We built on the development work of @georginasavage_ and @jeffemtman built us an immersive sound world.
I was exec producer/writer. Huge thanks to @cbcpodcasts senior producer @Mak_Returnofthe, who steered us with thoughtful notes, as did @RawTVLtd podcast head @deborahdudgeon + @cbcpodcasts exec @IAmChrisOke

For a long time it's been difficult for independent creators to make podcasts with @BBCSounds. We've created a new programme where we are giving creatives with a podcast idea the budget & production support to make the podcast that they want to make: bbc.co.uk/audiolab RT
