The thing that stings about losing Anthony Davis to some of us. (See that word “Some” if that’s not you. I’m not talking to you. That’s how that works.) Is not just the whole “we won a chip with him”. It’s that fact that we went to battle for him. All the arguments we’ve had defending our guy. All the times he was fuckin robbed of that dpoy. The Mr Glass jokes when he had more games played than a certain franchises two star players who didn’t get the same jokes. I saw someone last night call him “lazy”. Do you know how fuckin tiring it’s gotta be to be the defensive anchor? Having to watch every position just in case you gotta save the play for a full NBA GAME!?! All he ever asked was for a center that could have his back. And he asked every. Fuckin. Year. We had that in 2020. And look where it got us. And we blew it up. Smh. All those times where we fought other fans to show that we had the best big in the league. And he’s gone. With no rumors. No insight. No hint no clue. That shit just … kinda fuckin stings.
