Mobile checkout abandonment hit 62.4% in a 117 brand study, against 50.5% on desktop. Your product pages can be fine and you still lose the sale at the last step. Shorter forms and saved payment options are where I'd look first. Link below.

Old posts aren't dead weight. They already earned rankings and traffic. Refresh the stats, sharpen the intro, add a clear next step, and let them work again. Updating is usually faster than starting from scratch. Details in link.

Your happiest customers are already doing your marketing. They just haven't been asked. A short email after a good experience, asking for a review or a referral, costs nothing and often beats the ad you're paying for. Build the system before you spend.
Customers don't count clicks, but they notice every barrier between wanting to buy and actually buying. 60% of callers put on hold for over a minute hang up. Your ads can't fix that. Audit the path from click to booking first. Link in reply.

An international insurance site fell from 40, 000 organic visitors a month to 10, 000. The fix wasn't a trick. It came down to fixing the basics at once, on page, technical, content and links. Now it's over 100, 000 a month. Boring work that compounds. @StartGrowthHack

Most project software doesn't fail because it's missing features. It fails because nobody can see who owns the next decision. Every RFI, change, and field blocker needs an owner, evidence, and a due date. Miss one and the whole job starts to drift.

Before you raise the ad budget, click your own offer on a phone and try to buy it. If it asks for an account first or hides the total until the last step, more clicks only buy you more exits. Fix the path, then scale the spend.

Experienced pier anglers don't cast whenever they feel like it. They time it to the moving water because that's when the fish feed. Your ad spend works the same way. Traffic means nothing if your website isn't ready to convert the people who show up.

Picking between Copilot and ChatGPT is the wrong first question. Start with where your work already lives, then choose the tool that sits there. A smarter assistant won't fix a weak offer or a slow website.

Baymard data cited by Shopify: 18% of shoppers quit checkout over a forced account, 17% over a process that took too long. Ad spend stops mattering at that last screen. Make guest checkout obvious and trim the form before buying more traffic. Details in link.

Median website converts at 2.35%. Top 10% clear 11.45%. If you sit near the median, start with the page before touching the ad budget. Mobile is the first place I'd look: 1.82% there against 3.14% on desktop.

Automation is only worth it once the process underneath it works. Automating a messy follow up sequence just sends bad messages faster. Fix the offer, tighten the handoff, then automate. That's when it saves time and money instead of creating more cleanup.

Better targeting won't help if your buyers have never heard of you. In tight niches, the same few hundred people read the same publications and show up to the same events. Being seen there again and again beats a perfectly segmented ad audience every time.

Before you buy more traffic, check where visitors drop off. Shogun's 2026 study of 745 Shopify stores puts the median conversion rate at 1.74%. Slow pages, a vague offer, or a checkout with too many steps will eat your sales faster than a weak ad. Fix those first.
